With a sedate way of life, Lisa should have been happy. There was nothing to do all day except swim in the pool, sunbathe and watch the world go by. But it wasn’t for her. It felt like there were more than twenty-four hours in a day.
With her bags packed – she left the villa. Winter vacations, with her great aunt Ada, filled her mind with adventure. With nothing but a sledge, and team of Huskies, they spent their day in a whirlwind of snow and laughter.
Lisa wanted that now.
Would her husband understand her need to get away? At best, he would probably think she was having an affair. There was nobody else. That wasn’t quite true; for the first time in years she was thinking of herself.
