What’s in a sign? Danger, deep water – someone must have planted it there in the first place. It can’t be that deep can it? I wade in towards the sign. My mates are whooping from the river bank. My legs treading water, I want to turn back, but I don’t want to look like a chicken. Why did I take the dare? I can’t swim.
