Fandango’s daily word prompt

This made me think of one of my favourite television programmes – Bones. I recently binge watched all the episodes on Disney channel. It was weird, there were some episodes I didn’t know the end of. But there were some episodes I could remember word for word.

I’ve also read the books, that the series was loosely based on. I say loosely because apart from the actual crimes, the television series was completely different. I enjoyed them both, but for different reasons.

I like anything with detectives in it, but that is probably because of my dad. I remember watching black and white series of; Sherlock Holmes, The Chinese Detective and Miss Marple. I can watch these programmes again and again, and even though I know who the murderer is I still want to watch it to the very end.

It is like my dad is sitting there with me.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. My son is 25, but living with us, he came down last night and found a blanket to put over me. I will say he was giggling while he did this because I kept on saying I wouldn’t fall asleep. I did though.

  2. True, I can think of books I’ve read, and the movies that were made. Harry Potter being one of them. Nobody who has read the books, will ever have a positive view of the movie, Half Blood Prince.
