Word of the day challenge – Grizzle

I pulled the first grey hair I saw,

but that only made a grizzle more,

In the past, I’ve coloured, dyed,

my frazzled hair to auburn red, to disguise,

the fact I was getting older. Now my grey is

getting bolder. Each strand shouldering

the rest. I no longer pull them out. In fact,

I’m kind of proud.
