I won’t be online much today as we are taking a trip back to my home town to see family. My clever son wanted to show his uncle the first chapter of his web comic. I have helped, but only to type in what he wanted to say.
I look at my grown up children and I am so proud. They are such caring people. My daughter is known as Mama Bear, from all her friends. My son has a kind, forgiving heart, and I have a lot to learn from him. Since COVID, he has worried more than most about family. He wanted to see his uncle today, to show he will be okay and I know he will.
My daughter has a child of her own now, and I can see she is a wonderful mum. When I look at my little grandchild, there is a lot of similarities. Both are headstrong, and know what they want out of life. I’m proud that my daughter is not afraid to speak her mind and I hope my grandchild will be the same.
The one thing I have taught my children is family are important. We may not get along with them all the time. There may be weeks, months or even years where we don’t speak, but we love them. We may move to another part of the country, but that just makes meeting them again special.
For me, it gives me strength to be around those I love.
Have a lovely visit Diana

This: what you say about your kids, says a lot about you. You raised caring humans. Oh, I love knowing that. Here’s a hug and a sincere pat. Thanks for a job well done.
Enjoy your visit, Diana. XO
