Why do I blog? I have only been blogging for a few months, and originally it was to promote my writing. My daughter helped me set up the layout and I have been writing on it ever since.
Now I blog because I am enjoying it – there is a sense of writing every day. Not only to I get to take part in some amazing word prompts, but I get to read some amazing writing. I’ve always loved different writer’s intake on a word or picture. Even this one has brought up so many viewpoints.
Nobody is right, or wrong, we are just writers.
Well said. 🙂

Thanks Diana for sharing your thoughts. Writing, reading and meeting new people via your blog are all great reasons to blog.

I started blogging because I was actively working on a novel and everything I read said writers should have a website/blog. I kind of threw out some short practice works and then thought, I need to keep up with my reading better – so I started reviewing one book per week. Just on books I had but hadn’t read or ones I got from the library. About 6 months in, I discovered the NetGalley world and things just took off in unexpected directions. I blog now because it keeps me busy doing things I love – writing, reading, chatting about books, promoting books and authors, recommending books, and being able to do it all at my discretion (so stress stays very low).

I’m kind of the same and will do a book review when I can. Although I have big time constraints at the moment, so I am unable to devote the time I would like to my blog.
