My favourite beverage – its between two – tea and coffee.

Living in the UK, tea is basically our favourite brew. It will go with anything – fry up, roast dinner and digestive biscuits. We drink it for shock (with lots of sugar) and whenever family meet up tea will be the mostly likely hot drink.

I used to drink a lot of tea, but recently my tastes have changed. This might have something to do with flavoured coffee. Where I shop they do the ‘Beanies’ brand’. You can have any flavour. Marshmallow, biscuit, burnt toffee, coconut, and many more.

Although there are flavoured tea too. I like the blackcurrant and apple. As long as it is sweet I don’t care.

The one thing I am sure of is I can’t drink anything without something sweet. It used to be biscuits, but my diet stopped all that. Now I am eating salted caramel fibre bars instead.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. I used to like sweet in drinks but now I do not need add any sugar into tea or coffee. I still like a bit of cream with coffee (very little) and that gives just enough sweetness. Your taste may change again.
