Do you dream in colour or black and white or some other variation of colour?

I have dreamed in colour all my life, but not just colour. It is more vibrant in my dreams. Red, yellow, green are all brighter than they are in real life. Some of my dreams I forget the moment I wake up. Most of them are lottery numbers, which I repeat in the dream, but there is one number at most in reality.

I’m not sure whether some of my dreams were premonitions of what might happen, but distorted in a way that isn’t a simple as saying this will happen. There have been two dreams in particular, where a big event has happened in real life, and I had been dreaming of it for months.

I was never in a position to do anything about the outcome.

Saying that most of my dreams are one big muddle, and I may never understand them. Maybe we will never totally understand dreaming, but all I know is there are things, such as WIFI, that would have been thought far fetched even forty years ago.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. I thought everyone had dreams in color, but not quite so vivid, in general, as to confuse with reality. I’ve always had dreams that often had such colors or vividness that I realized that it had to be a dream, which generally turns out to be a relief.
