When I first moved here a few months (years) back, I couldn’t believe that it would change my life. My daughter wanted to move, but had to go further out than any of us imagined. One hundred and twenty miles from our home town, we found a both found a new town to live in.
A couple of years ago my son and his friend moved in with us.
I joined a writing group, where I found like minded writers, who not only helped me find an editor for my book ”It Won’t Happen Again”, but were honest in their opinion of where I needed to improve my story.
It was from that writing group I found the playwright course at my local theatre. Now, in a few weeks, my play will be seen by the general public on Virtual Reality headsets.
The right moment in time, and I cannot wait to see my play in action. I don’t know what will be next in my journey, but I’m proud to have written a play, and to have published my book.
My next step is to get the first draft in my new manuscript, and find the time to get it ready to send to an agent. It is a lot of hard work, but I’m willing to put the effort in.
