There are many shades of red I like; my favourite flower is a red rose. Not because of it’s association with romance, but because my dad loved them. They are beautiful, sturdy, and brighten any garden.

I am a Manchester United fan, and obviously their team colours are red. I’ve supported them since I was twelve years old. I saw Bobby Charlton play on television and thought he was extremely talented. That and Bryan Robson was a good looking football player. I’m not that worried about football now, although my husband (A blue Chelsea supporter through and through)

Red suits me as a colour when I wear it – my daughter and granddaughter too. It may have something to do with us all having dark hair. I’m not totally sure.

However, there is one place red doesn’t exist for me and that is Harry Potter. As you can see from my website name I am Writer Ravenclaw, and their main colour is blue.
