Turkey, Silent, and Chop some wood.

Our house, a unique design in wood for the new ecological age.

We didn’t rely on fossil fuels for our heating, and solar panels give us all the heat we need. Based on the Japanese type of house, there is no need for radiators. The walls trap in the heat, and it is never cold.

My mother thought I got sold a turkey, but even she has understood my need to be green. My child, her grandchild deserves a future that doesn’t involve global warming.

In the middle of the countryside, there are trees all around me, protecting my little bud. I won’t ever chop them down, there is no need for firewood just the power of nature and my hope for change.

Silence, my friend, is an amazing thing.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
