We went Christmas shopping today.
I took a list of who I wanted to buy for, but ended up buying for the one person who has more than enough. I’ve wrapped up seven gifts already, and now there will be at least five more. At least they were clothes this time and not toys.
I meant to get gifts for family, but nothing really stood out for me today. The trouble is I want to get something different. Something I haven’t brought before. I will keep on looking though – it doesn’t need to be expensive, just something that will bring a smile to their face on the day.
We will try again next week, or I might just type something into Amazon and see what I might find there.
At least you’ve started! Ugh! Maybe I’ll get in the mood soon. ☺️

I wanted to get them all out of the way this week, but it is not going to happen. It is when you blink and realise it is only five weeks to Christmas.

It’s tough to find something unique for an adult. Easy to buy for little kids!

For me it is about the gift, and not the cost of the gift. I once wrote a poem for my brother and sister because I didn’t have much money. I love quirky gifts.

Oh wow, at least you have made a positive start. I love to find unusual gifts too, seems to be harder these days. I do enjoy a Christmas fayre though, sometimes you find an unusual treasure there. Thank you so much for joining in the #writephoto prompt. KL ❤
