Shopping – I’ve got a list

We went Christmas shopping today.

I took a list of who I wanted to buy for, but ended up buying for the one person who has more than enough. I’ve wrapped up seven gifts already, and now there will be at least five more. At least they were clothes this time and not toys.

I meant to get gifts for family, but nothing really stood out for me today. The trouble is I want to get something different. Something I haven’t brought before. I will keep on looking though – it doesn’t need to be expensive, just something that will bring a smile to their face on the day.

We will try again next week, or I might just type something into Amazon and see what I might find there.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Oh wow, at least you have made a positive start. I love to find unusual gifts too, seems to be harder these days. I do enjoy a Christmas fayre though, sometimes you find an unusual treasure there. Thank you so much for joining in the #writephoto prompt. KL ❤
