I’m new to blogging, but as far as change goes, I have learnt as I go along. From the early days (a few months ago) I only posted snippets of my book and author advice. Not that I’m an expert, but I wouldn’t want anyone to fall in the pitfalls I have.
My first book was self published by a vanity publishing house. I paid good money, for very little editing. I can’t go back and edit the book with all the knowledge I have now. From my beta readers to my editor I have learnt to approach my writing in a different way.
Has my writing changed? Yes I believe it has, and it will probably continue to change as I learn my craft. My new novel ”In the Dark”, is in editing mode, but I don’t seem to have enough time to write. I need to make a change with my timings, but that would include making more hours in the day.
Why can’t you edit it?

Because they have the digital copy of the book. I wrote it about ten years ago and I haven’t got a copy on my computer.

eek! But surely the copyright remains yours? Could you ask for a copy and hope they play ball? I mean, they can’t do anything with the file, can they?
