In answer to #saltedcaramel, my favourite breakfasts. Since joining a slimming group my breakfasts have become more healthy. However, lately the rest of the day doesn’t quite go so well.
Healthy Fry up – using fry light spray. I can still have my full breakfast, but without the fat that goes with it. My bacon is fat free, the sausages half fat, and everything else is cooked in fry light.
Porridge – without sugar, and with lots of fruit. I need milk, not water, but I have found that you don’t need the sugar to make it tasty.
Whole meal toast and Marmite (I know, a touchy subject for some, but I love Marmite)
Frozen fruit (very tasty, although strawberries don’t freeze well) and yoghurt.

Pancakes with frozen fruit and fat free yoghurt.
All these breakfasts are tasty, but good for when you are on a diet. Pancakes aren’t unhealthy, as long as you don’t add all the sugar. The same can be said of all my choices.
The trouble is, apart from my breakfast choice, my other choices are not healthy. I eat when I’m stressed, and I’m eating now.
Oh well, back to the diet in January.
I find it tough to eat healthy when it’s cold and bowls of cheesy pasta are so warm and comforting…

I eat when I am stressed out, worried, sad or happy.
I try to stick to healthy food though.

I am an emotional eater, and steer towards sugar when I’m stressed. I’m not eating healthy at the moment, but I aim to go back to my slimming club in the new year. I spent too long losing three stone to put it back on again.
