SoCS – The Right Size

In the cupboard was the thing she wanted to have the most. A special mug, with her name on it. It was just the right size for a perfect cup of coffee. The handle moulded around her grip, and on a cold, wintery morning there was nothing better than making her favourite Latte.

A treat for all proportions.

Five minutes out of her busy day, spent just being herself. The children were at school, and her husband at work. Most of the time she was rushing from place to place, but now she had time to herself, but didn’t quite know what to do.

Perhaps she could run a bath, take her coffee, and relax for an hour with her favourite novel.

Her mobile rang out of nowhere.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
