Once a crack in a cliff, a cave beautiful, gleaming. I visited here when I was ten. I thought every crevice held meaning.
Now, in my eighties, this cave was bigger on the inside.

Isn’t that the way, yet isn’t it also a marvel how we remember some special places from childhood.

From what I’ve been learning at school the cave would be different because the waves will erode the rocks further. It would take years, even decades.

A lot of things seem to change as we age, even if in fact they haven’t. That’s life!
