I am part of a talented group of amateur writers and directors, who with the help of a local entertainment centre, have created some amazing VR360 plays. Along with LIVR, and the lottery, we are more than ready for our premier next week.
Today I was able to view mine, and another writer’s play. I loved them both. They were realistic, entertaining, and engaging . Actors chosen for the roles were brilliant and their take on our words full of emotion. The director brought my play to life, and as the end credits rolled I was so proud of our joint achievement.
I left the theatre, and it felt like I was lighter than air. Not only can I say I am a commissioned writer, but I have written and edited a play, which will be viewed by an audience. It isn’t something I thought I could ever do, but now I have, I want to go through the whole experience again.
I am thankful I was given the chance to be part of this creative team, learning off experienced writers and directors. They took us through the whole process, step by step, and because of them our work was able to shine.
So, next week, with my glad rags on, I am going to my first premier.
I don’t know what VR360 or LIVR are.
I searched for LIVR and was directed to a site that told me “I had a party in my pocket.”
I always thought “I Had a Poem in My Pocket.” Maybe I need to be enlightened. 😦

VR360 is like a gaming headset that allows you to see something in three D.
