My Valentine

This week Sunday’s Poser is;

What are your thoughts about Valentine’s Day?

I’ve been married for thirty-four years, and Valentine’s Day isn’t something we celebrate. I’m easily pleased anyway, and would prefer one red rose as a gift, than a whole bunch of flowers.

We don’t give each other gifts, or buy cards, but we don’t need to either.

He listens when I need to talk, and will cook my dinner every night. He’s not perfect, but then, neither am I. I know if I need support, he will always be there.

Roses are red, Violets blue,

Hubby of mine,

I’ll always love you.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
