‘What do you want?’ Stacey asked her friend.
‘I’ll have a mocha,’ Graham said, ‘with extra chocolate.’
Stacey searched inside her purse, and hoped she would have enough to cover the expensive coffee. She had said she wanted the blind date to be a shared experience, but didn’t know he wanted to go to the most expensive restaurant in London.
There were so many types of coffee it made her head spin.
‘I forgot my card, I’m sorry,’ she said.
‘Not to worry, I’ve got this.’ Graham wasn’t bothered by the cost, and then neither should she.
‘What do you want?’
‘What the heck, I’ll have a mocha too,’ she said.
