My Sunday Ramble for E’M

  1. What are five things you could buy at a gas station to make the cashier look at you oddly? One mars bar, one twix, one star bar, one large bar of dairy milk and a diet coke.
  2. If someone were to narrate your life, who would you choose to do it? Dame Helen Mirren.
  3. Have you ever given an impromptu speech about something you know nothing about? As part of my English speaking and listening exam, I spoke about how mobile phones are connected to lack of sleep. I got a grade 7 out of 9 for my whole exam. Not bad when you consider I was fifty three at the time.
  4. What will be the most laughable artifacts they find from our generation? mobile phones, can you imagine if there is no electricity and all they have is a circuit, metal, plastic and glass.
  5. Time stands still for everyone except you for an hour. How would you spend that time? Reading a good book without any interruptions.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. I am craving chocolate now 🙂 I would have to wash them down with coffee. I love chocolate and coffee together. Great job on the exam for the impromptu. I was always scared to speak in a public capacity until I found my dream job. I still get nerves though.
