In the context of blogging and writing, what do you think is more important: what you say or how you say it?
Blogging and writing is a mixture of what you say and how you say it.
The content of a blog needs to be well thought out, but sometimes an idea springs into your mind, and it needs to be written down. Our first drafts are often rubbish, quoting Hemmingway, but when you are blogging, much of my work is first draft. It isn’t because I don’t care what is on my blog, but more about time.
I work during the day, so the only time I get to write or blog is after work. Sometimes I will be more tired. The word prompts help because inspiration strikes with just one word or prompt.
We need to be careful of what we say, not just because our opinions may differ from other people. How we voice our thoughts on a subject needs to be considered before we post. I’m not saying not to have an opinion, but don’t expect others to agree with it.
I steer away from politics, not that I believe in UK politics any more, and religion. I’m respectful of other bloggers, and don’t voice an unwarranted opinion. If I don’t like what I am reading, then I don’t read the blog.
I enjoying blogging, the word prompts, and reading other bloggers take on the prompt. We are all so different, but that’s okay, because it would be boring if we were all the same.
How, or what, it is all the same.
Great thoughts. I think of myself as my own editor. I get to choose what I publish. Since it reflects on me, I try to polish it before I publish it! ๐๐

Unlike you, I donโt steer clear of politics, religion, and other matters in my blog that might be a bit controversial. But I do try to write my posts in a way that reflects my perspectives on the topic without coming across as being too disrespectful to those who might not share my perspectives. Well, Donald Trump, his sycophants, enablers, MAGA-morons, and most ultra far-right conservatives excepted. In my opinion, they deserve my respect.

I agree with you on Trump, how that man ever got into office is beyond me, watching his supporters storming into your version of parliament, I never want to see again.
