Written in response to Sunday’s Six Sentence Story.

Natures confetti showered the happy couple as they walked out of the church.

A day to remember, the sun shone brighter that morning.

They walked to the car with a smile on their faces.

Thirty years later, she returned to Saint Mary’s Church alone.

It still looked the same.

Cherry blossom drifted down and he was holding her hand.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
