For Fandango’s Story Starter

I was having dinner with a few of my closest friends when I suddenly realized that I forgot my wallet. It wouldn’t have mattered anyway – there was no money in the account.

I had already ordered a starter and wondered who I could ask for a loan. They were all very good, and I would do the same for them. I didn’t even have to ask in the end. My best friend looked at me and passed twenty pounds under the counter.

One day I would do the same for him.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
