Nap Time

Naps.   Do they refresh you or do you feel they slow you down?   This is the question from https://sparksfromacombustiblemind.wordpress.com/

When I am working I don’t tend to nap in the afternoon, unless it is in the bath. If I am tired I will doze off without realising it. I tend to feel a little more tired after I have been to sleep.

They tend to slow me down.

Although there is nothing wrong with a power nap in the afternoon. The reason why you feel tired is because you are tired. A nap just takes the edge off. To feel fully awake you need to have your full eight hours sleep.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Like Di, I only get six at the outside. It’s something about the getting older process or maybe (in my case anyway) the lack of activity that makes me sleep like that. I’d never have thought it, because I was a ‘get in at 2 a.m. and sleep til noon at least’ kinda gal in my younger days.
