Charles couldn’t believe this conversation had to be even debated in Congress. The law should be passed now – before any one else got hurt. An eighteen year old man, still a child, able to get a gun. Lives ruined because politicians didn’t have the courage of the own ideals.

‘We can talk about what we will do next. It isn’t a decision we should make lightly.’

‘All we’ve done is talk. Every time it happens we talk, then what happens. We forget way too fast.’

To walk away was the only thing he could do, but he wasn’t going to let it lie.
