Sharing my World

https://sparksfromacombustiblemind.wordpress.com/ asks these questions

If You Could Be Best Friends With A Celebrity, Who Would It Be? I would be best friends with Maggie Smith. We could chat over a cup of tea and cake. I could ask her if she wouldn’t mind playing the lead role in my book.

What is, or should be, the main purpose of law?

To keep people safe, and allow people to live in a world where we can look after our friends and family.

Do You Care About Reviews?

It depends on the review. If it were to do with my writing, as long as it is constructive criticism then I will listen. If it is just telling me its rubbish without offering why, then I don’t care about those reviews. Thankfully most of my reviews have been positive.

I don’t tend to leave bad reviews on Amazon – I know how difficult it is to write a book. Whether there are mistakes or not, they can be rectified. We are often too close to our words to see where we have gone awry.

Is the ‘mind’ different to the ‘brain’? If so, in what ways?

The mind is a complex thing, we all have our fears and worries, and it is difficult to think straight in those conditions. Our brain is our intelligence, it is when we think logically rather than with our heart.

GRATITUDE SECTION

Overall how sunny is your nature?  (Optimistic)?

I see myself as a half glass full sort of person, but just lately so many things have needed to be sorted. Sometimes it would be nice for someone else to take on the responsibility. My husband is a half glass empty sort of person, and struggles to fix a problem because he is too concerned with the problem. Saying that there is so much I am grateful for. I have kind children (grown up) and they make me proud every day. Whatever happens they will always make my glass full of love.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Thanks Diana, for Sharing Your World. Sadje is right, that last line is beautiful! Great answers to all the questions, and Maggie Smith? Invite her ’round for tea up here too! ☺ She’s quite a character! Have a pleasant rest of the week!
