Fandango’s provocative question is an important topic. “As a nation we have to ask: When in God’s name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby? How many more children have to die before there is a change in the law?
It seems to me that every time something like this happens American’s politicians promise to look at the gun laws, then it seems to go nowhere. ”The Right to Bare Arms”, gets in the way.
I’m glad in the UK, we cannot purchase guns like they do sweets in America. We have our fair share of problems, but at least you have to have a licence to have a gun.
I can’t imagine what those poor parents are going through – to have a life taken before they have a chance to live cannot be tolerated anymore.
I wonder if it were their children who were killed it would be different. I don’t know much about the education system in the USA, but I would imagine most politicians sends their children to very exclusive schools.
It needs to stop, and your gun laws need to change!
Yes, yes and yes. Well said Diana

You are right. It needs to stop, and our gun laws need to change. But I’m afraid that is unlikely, and that will be the downfall of America.
