Six Sentence Sleepy head

Six sentences from using the verb, or noun, or adjective strike.

To strike a deal with a toddler,

Is to play the very long game,

An extra hour for bedtime,

when their energy levels wane,

They soon are too tired to argue,

going to sleep early again.
