Lovely

For my https://xingfumama.blog/tag/whatsoever-is-lovely/ ideas for her word, picture prompt is not a picture but time well spent. Today I am going to re-plant a strawberry plant with my daughter and granddaughter.

We brought a tiny little pot plant each, which hopefully will give us strawberries next year, or even a few this year if we are lucky. All the money in the world doesn’t replace these little moments.

She is two, and from what I know of life, they grow up so quick (I still can’t believe I am the mother of a thirty-one and twenty-six year old. I remember them at the same age. Curious, full of wonder and learning all the way.

So, after work, I will spend time with them, making a little mess, and planting new life, so if that isn’t lovely. What is?
