World Sharing

Thanks https://pensitivity101.wordpress.com/author/pensitivity101/ for taking over Share your World from Melanie

  1.  When you’re on holiday, do you prefer self catering or a hotel/B&B? I would prefer a hotel, but they can be expensive, so we normally go self catering. Most holiday camps are self catering anyway, and there is always a great fish and chip shop, or restaurant.
  2.  Do you have a favourite meal you cook for yourself or order when out? I don’t do the cooking in my house, the smoke detector went on strike the last time I cooked. My favourite meal at home is when my husband makes home made lasagne. He doesn’t make the sauce himself, but that doesn’t matter it tastes delicious. My favourite take out would have to be sweet and sour chicken, if I’m ordering a Chinese, and a ham and pineapple pizza if I’m having pizza.
  3. In the current fuel crisis, have you made a conscious effort not to use the car unless absolutely necessary? Petrol prices are way too high, although some have gone down because they were putting the price up when they didn’t need to. I do have to think when going on a longer journey because I know my normal twenty pounds won’t go very far.

4.  If you were to compare yourself to a plant, what would you be? I would be a rose, strong and sturdy, but with an array of colours. It is my favourite plant because of my dad.

GRATITUDE:

I have many happy memories, where laughing is the best medicine. Being with my family, especially when we haven’t seen each other in a long time. We might not speak every day, but they are in my thoughts always.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
