Time

When did time actually begin? https://fivedotoh.com/2022/08/17/fandangos-provocative-question-178/ and my answer is that, I’m not sure, but does that mean time for human beings, or just time?

Billions of years have passed, so the experts tell us. They say the earth was created, but I’m not sure how they can measure time in that way. Obviously, we have time recorded in our books. Whatever your belief system is, but the bible records 2022 years after Jesus, and about the same after. Other religions have similar time scales.

It’s a bit like when we measure the distance between us and the sun – how can we say how far it is away when we cannot really measure it. There are telescopes, but we are only just sending space ships to Mars. I think there is more to this universe than we realise. Looking up at the sky, and knowing how many suns (stars) there are, they must be able to support life.

Time is weird, because there are days when it just flies by, and then others, when it drags along. Our perception of time changes in whatever we do. Also, we don’t remember much of what we do. We have our daily routine, which doesn’t change in the most part. Even holidays merge, as we go on the same activities, which makes them more memorable.

So, when did time begin? I’m not sure, but when we live our lives, we need to make the best use of our time on this earth.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
