‘Who ate the last strawberry cream out of the selection box?’ Jason said.

The near empty tin sat on his lap, and the only chocolates left at the bottom were the green triangles, and toffee, wrapped in gold. He only wanted one strawberry cream, but his sister had nicked the last one.

‘You ate all the purple ones.’

‘I did not, I was upstairs listening to my television.’

got hungry. I do like the Strawberry creams. Sorry, but there is another tin here if you want to share.’

‘I want the purple ones,’ they shouted.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
