Message in a Blogging

“A blog is a message in a bottle, both in purpose and likely readership.” https://saltedcaramel670.wordpress.com/2022/09/12/blogging-insights-nf-53/ is today’s inspiration.

I haven’t thought about a blog being a message in a bottle, but there the purpose in writing a blog can be different for many people. I write my blog because I enjoy writing. Although on nights like this, when I can’t think about what to write, it can make me tired.

I am a novice, in the respect I only have about 130 followers, but I hope I am able to show them something they want to read. I enjoy writing short stories, novels, plays, and my blog gives me a chance to practice.

So, my message in my bottle is carry on reading my blog, and I will do my best to give writing enjoyment.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  5. Most of us personal/hobby bloggers are novices, in that we are not writers by profession.
    As fir blog stats, don’t give them a second thought. The traffic on your blog depends mostly on how much you engage, that is how much you visit other blogs, read posts and leave meaningful comments. Of course, content is important too .
