Spread the word and put in a good one to my fellow writers
Laura, a pile of wood in front of her, holds two sticks, hoping to create a spark. Tap, tap, tap, but nothing was happening, just frustration at her lack of knowledge. She was about to give up when a light emerged from one of them. What was it her instructor said to do next? She blew onto the kindling and a few flames spread across to create fire.
Now all she needed to do was cook the food, although the stars were shining brighter than the flames.
Cleverly written scene, I can picture it in my mind.

The directions seem so easy. And in the movies it looks so easy. Never worked for me. 😦
