Today’s https://girlieontheedge1.wordpress.com/2022/11/02/its-thursdays-six-sentence-story-link-up-10/ is to use the noun, or adjective, energy for a six-sentence story.

Energy bills, no longer being sent by paper, and Stella couldn’t open her email instead. British Gas, we are writing to inform you, was the opening line, but she struggled to read any more. I mean, she didn’t watch the news because it was increasingly disturbing, now this, it was all too much. Taking a swig of her coffee, she clicked right on the mouse, to find something quite refreshing.

We would like to inform you there will be a rebate of sixty-seven pound going into your bank account.

Good news, that was for sure.

  3. The last was a surprise, Diana. Good news for a change and something to ease the pain. Is this a gov’t-funded rebate in the UK? The news everywhere is so bleak these days.
