This week from http://lindaghill.com/2022/11/04/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-nov-5-2022/ and I couldn’t pick a favourite word. As a writer, all words have their uses. The word I decided to use was coffee, purely because I use it every day.
My favourite word, and probably a word I use a lot in my day is coffee. It is the first thing I go to in the morning. The last thing I drink at night. Although I have had to limit how much coffee I was drinking. My husband had a bit of a panic attack at the dentist, and they were worried. We were given a blood pressure machine from the doctor. As a joke I decided to see what my pressure was, and it was higher than my husbands.
When we returned the machine, the doctor rang me, telling me mine was higher than it should be. From my research I found out that some sugar free chocolate bars can cause it. Also, coffee, so I limit myself to two cups a day now. Drinking water during the day. I eat dark chocolate, which is meant to lower blood pressure, and one banana a day.
Luckily it has gone down due to my change in lifestyle.
I buy caffeine free, so that when I am at home, I can still drink coffee.
I wouldn’t mind, but I never drank coffee when I was younger – more of a tea drinker.
I vote for coffee too but have also cut down. My husband makes it each evening so I am limited to what he prepares. Seems we are always throwing out a cup or two at the end of the day.
I don’t think I have had a soft drink in over ten years.
