Twitter Twist

This week from https://fivedotoh.com/2022/11/09/fandangos-provocative-question-189/ he asks about Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter.

Whether or not you have a Twitter account, how do you feel about Musk’s takeover of Twitter and the changes he’s made so far. Do you care one way or the other? If you currently are on Twitter, do you plan to continue actively using it?

I’m not on Twitter that much, sometimes I get tagged by another user on a Friday, positive post. I will answer when I see it, but I don’t really go on every day. I used to, before opening my WordPress account. I am using Facebook a lot less too.

Part of that is because I just don’t have time, I check other people’s posts, family and friends, but that is all. It doesn’t make a difference to me either way. I have stopped watching the news, there is too much happening. None of which I able to control.

Social media is a dangerous place to be, especially for young adults. It wouldn’t matter who owned it. How is it that anyone can say anything without thinking how it will affect the other person. It was happening before he took over Twitter and will happen with him in charge.
