It is reasonable to say, in the UK our political system is a bit crazy at the moment. We have had two prime ministers in two months. On the second attempt Boris decided he was going to try again.

In truth we need an election, for the politicians to understand what we need to be done. We know the economy is in a crisis, and something needs to be done. However, rehashing old policies, isn’t the way.

There are many people on the poverty line, who are relying on food banks to eat. Most of the time they are working, but on low-income wages. It isn’t right. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, there will be many people who cannot afford to put the heating on or find money for shopping. On top of that, their children are asking for presents their friends are getting.

Pensioners are choosing between food and keeping warm – it isn’t right or fair.

Yes, something needs to be done, but where most people are getting annoyed, is that it is always the ones who have the least amount, who are chosen to get the country out of the mess it is in.

We are lucky, with freedom of speech. Enough anyway to be able to voice our opinions.

Maybe it would be a good idea to get them more often.

We are used to budgeting, trying to make ends meet, and may give them something they could do to help.
