This week’s Story Starter teaser, for the story, https://fivedotoh.com/2022/12/20/fandangos-story-starter-77/
The sun was setting over the lake, painting the sky in a mix of orange and gold, and the air was filled with the sound of crickets singing, when suddenly
I placed my cold nose on the ground, there was a scent I hadn’t had the pleasure to smell before. Pungent, with a heady aroma I needed to savour. Running, faster than I have ever run before, Dad looked a little scared. Not that I could catch me.
‘Don’t you dare,’ he said, warning me to stop.
How could I stop, it smelled amazing, I wanted to have that on my fur. My tail wagging, I finally stopped, rolling in the beautiful mound of stench. I mean, it was delicious, the heady aroma of fox. Sticking to my fur, I was the happiest dog ever.
He didn’t have to swear.
The window was wide open, I mean, I like fresh air, but that was rediculous.
‘What did you have to that for?’
good story 🙂

Ah, Kizzy did that and we had to hose her down. We were camping at the time and she was not impressed!
