Mothers to be, life had changed in so many ways. It was different, yet the same old laughter. It was a friendship they first saw at the age of twelve. One young girl, sitting on a bike rack. Another, hoping that she wasn’t going to get moved on.

That smile, and both knew they were going to be best friends.

Twenty years of phone calls, texts, WhatsApp calls, and Sarah still remembered that first day. Being bullied, her confidence in other people had waned. Yet, in that one moment, life was better.

Life was changing around them, but her bestie would always be her bestie. Watching the dawn together, this would be a trip they would never forget.
