In Review

Written in response to https://fromcavewalls.wordpress.com/2022/12/29/throwback-thursday-70-a-year-in-review/

2022 has been a year like other years.

I had my fair share of good times and bad.

Whatever the year, I am proud of my family. I’ve watched my children grow up to adults, with kind, caring, thoughtful hearts. I know, whatever happens in 2023, they are my strength. I see my son every day (he lives with us) and my daughter most days. In the new year my granddaughter will start nursery, and because of my holidays, I can be there with my daughter for her special day. I think she won’t cry (my granddaughter) and will walk into school, ready to play with all the toys.

My daughter, me; we will need the tissues.

Next year, I will be finishing my latest writing project, hopefully writing new plays, and spending time with family (lots of 8 and 0 birthdays)

I wish everyone a Happy New Year.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. We watched our youngest grandchild go 8nto Kindergarten this past year. She struggled but is completely fine now. I hope the new year brings you much joy and continued happiness.
