Fibbing Friday from https://pensitivity101.wordpress.com/2023/01/13/fibbing-friday-13th-january/
1. Why were people given middle names? So they could tell if they were naughty. If the middle name was called, you were in trouble.
2. Why do we cover our mouths when we yawn? To not collapse, if we allow the yawn to escape, we automatically fall asleep.
3. Why do we say ‘Bless You’ when somebody sneezes? Because when you sneeze, swearing isn’t appropriate.
4. Why do we wear a wedding ring on the third finger of the left hand? Because it is easier to take off when washing up.
5. What was the original use of wind chimes? It was a door bell, which changed when the wind was blowing towards the house, showing someone was going towards the wooden door.
6. What were the original purpose of bridesmaids? To make sure the bride didn’t run away from the church.
7. What is the significance of the first butterfly of the year you see being white? It means there is snow going to cover the ground in Spring.
8. What does it mean if your right ear itches? A superstition about someone talking about you.
9. Why is Good Friday a good day to cut your hair? Because it is a cheap day to have your hair cut.
10. What should you give a friend who gives you a knife as a gift? Say thankyou, they always be useful.
Loved #1 and #2 Diana. My Mum always called me Diana rather than Di when I was in trouble!!
Thanks for joining in this week.

I was named by my big sister, it was meant to be Diane, after the song ‘My Diane’, but Mum was dyslexic and put an a at the end.
