Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit

A short story for January 9: Story Challenge in 99-words fromhttps://carrotranch.com/

Three rabbits, all girls, and one brother.

He always wanted them to be fed first, that’s what his mum told him. Sophie, Sheila, and Sally, they could always rabbit. They were half his size, but stronger. He would always keep them safe, but the other day, his three sisters kept him from the farmer.

He wanted to get the carrots, at the end of the field, thought he could out run the gun, but the farmer caught him. If it wasn’t for his sisters – running around the carrot patch, he wouldn’t have been able to get away.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
