Being the nephew, of the greatest detective in the world, his urge to understand made him wave to the woman at the window.
‘Are you okay madam,’ he asked, with a wave of his hand.
‘I need to escape, the door is barred.’
‘Fear not, I am here.’
‘I do not need your help.’
‘May I ask Madam, why you are such an hurry?’
She held on to the window, and a smile, more like a smirk, spread across her lips. The only reason she was here – policemen at the front room door, her name. Miss Oliver.
Her crime murder.
That would explain one leg out the window. Wonder if he helps her escape. Does she get away?

Maybe they’re well matched like Sherlock Holmes and his counterpart.

I wonder why she said she didn’t need his help. She surely needed some way out!

Probably because she knew who he was.
