Prestigious

Prestigious, the invitation, on silk paper was the best a girl could receive. The prize of the year, and she had nothing to wear. It was a surprise, but a great surprise. She looked into her wardrobe, wondering what she could wear.

A trouser suit, a black dress, or a skirt and top, which had seen better days.

She never expected writing a story for a magazine would bring her first night out in a year. A treat, that’s what she needed, a shopping spree, a new outfit, and she could go out in style

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
