Spring

Written for http://gmgblog.ca/2023/03/13/five-word-weekly-challenge-2311/

Introspection, Spring equinox, as the moon shines brighter in the sky. Seeds, awakening from their deep sleep, smiling at the reflection of his best friend. Renewal, when buds push through the earth, thinking it is time, to spread their petals, their pollen to fly.

Perhaps they should have been more dormant, just for a little while, but there is no turning back. Perhaps, tomorrow will be a warmer day.

Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
