Well Being

The Dawdler https://earthlycomforts.uk/ asks three questions this week.
Do you think being outside is good for a person’s wellbeing?
Definitely, whether it is to do with getting vitamin D, or energy from the sun. I have learnt in school (as a teaching assistant) that energy, cannot be destroyed or made. Therefore being in the sun, the transfer of energy is what we need. The condition SAD, is because of a lack of sunlight.

How much of a sensation seeker are you?
Not much, although I do like roller coaster rides, but only ones I feel safe on. I did a parachute (virtual) jump, and enjoyed that. Although I was nervous, even if it was only a few feet above the ground.

Do you believe in blind luck?
It does happen, although most of mine isn’t good.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
