Half Truth

1.  What is clematis?

A cocktail made of clementine, vodka and orange juice.
2.  What is meant by linear?

It is the straight line in the middle of the motorway.
3.  What is a gonk?

A type of goblin, which hides in sinks, waiting to steal the knives.
4.  What is a sirloin?

He is a knight, who likes to eat beef on a Sunday.
5.  What is pumpernickel?

It is a tyre pump, used in garages, where you leave a nickle behind the counter for the next person.
6.  What is canasta?

A type of pasta, found in a tin can.
7.  What is a Duchess Cake?

Marie Antoinette, let them eat cake.
8.  What is density?

She wasn’t too bright, and density comes from the lack of empathy with her subjects.
9.  Where will you find Agnes, Margo and Edith?

With Mary, Mungo, and Midge. Some say they changed their names after their celebrity fame nose dived.
10. What is a spatula?

Ursula’s version of the trident, she could never get her hands on the real weapon, so made one herself.
