Written for the prompt https://lindaghill.com/2023/04/07/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-april-8-2023/ This week the word gen, has got me thinking about the different generations. My parents were older, so my nieces and nephews are near my age. My sister was sixteen when I was born, my brother ten. I don’t think I was meant to happen, but I was loved all the same.
I’ve always joked I was part of their generation, as there is only five years between me and my oldest nephew. Although, in truth, I am my brother and sister’s generation. I am always seen as the little sister, even now at the age of fifty-seven.
I think myself as lucky, especially since I have learnt how to be the best person I can be from them.
Oh i think you were meant to be just how you were. God saw there was a need for a bridge and God knows best. You are lucky. Blessings to you. Thanks for sharing. XoXo
