Easter

Written in response to https://pensitivity101.wordpress.com/2023/04/10/share-your-world-easter-monday-2023/

1. Do you celebrate the Easter holiday and if not, do you have an alternative? I

I don’t go to church, but I consider myself a Christian though.
2. Do you exchange gifts or have a traditional meal?

Normally I would spend some of the holidays with my family. This year, to three of my house coming down with Covid, I haven’t seen my daughter, or grandchildren. I have tested negative. However, I have some more tests just in case. We tend to swap chocolate eggs. Although it might have to wait for my daughter to collect hers.
3. How many Easter Eggs (or alternative) did your receive/give?

I got four Easter eggs, and have eaten nearly two. I got my husband, son, his friend, daughter, her partner, and granddaughter and grandson.
4.  Was Easter a Bank Holiday in your country or did you have to work this weekend?

It is a bank holiday, and it was nice to have a few more days off. The shops were shut yesterday, but open on bank holiday Monday. This time last year, it was the other way round.

Gratitude:
Food on my table, and a family to share my happiness with.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
